Dear Mr. and Mrs. Field:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of.filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act.
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The proposed project and location is described as follows:
A single-family residential dwelling including a garage and decks
off SR1324 near Florence in the Osprey Point Subdivision, Lot #15
on Cabin Creek Rd.;.Pamlico County, N. C.
This certification of Exemption from requiring a C.A.M.A. Minor
Permit is valid for ninety days from the date of issuance - applies
ONLY to exemptions for piers, docks, and decks pursuant to 15A NCAC
lit .0203 and NOT for single family dwellings. Following expiration,
a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to
renew this certification.
Prior to beginning the project a building permit is required
