Dear Mr. Walling:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your
inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor
development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The project
you propose,.as submitted, is exempt from needing a minor development
permit. ilv«ever, if your plans should change you will need to contact
this office before proceeding.
Proposed project and location described as: A 4' x'.24'"T" shaped
_peir with the "T" end being 8' x 30' and addition of two mooring piles -
one on either -end of the "T The•location is on Lot 423 of Dawson
Creek Hills Subdivision on Dawson Creek near the Pamlico County Community
of Arapahoe, N. C.
This certification of exemption from requiring a C.A.M.A. Minor Permit
is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following expir-
ation, a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to
renew this certification.
Prior to beginning the project, a building permit*is required. If you
have any questions regarding this matter, please contact us.
