Dear Mr. Timcoe•
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your.
inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor
development parmit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The project
you propose, as submitted, is exempt fran needing a minor development
permit. However, if your plans should change you will need to contact
this office before proceeding.
Proposed project and location,described as: AA' 'x 90' "T" shaped
pier with the "T" end being 8' x 161. This pier ,is to be built on
property -purchased by you from John Dew which is described as lot #83
of the SailLoft Subdivision at the end of Yawl Place on Long Gut near
the Pamlico Countv Ccmunity of Oriental,_ N. C.
This certification of exemption from requiring,a C.A.M.A. Minor Permit
is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following expir-
ation, a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to
renew this certification.
Prior to beginning the project, a building permit is required. If you
have any questions regarding this matter, please contact us.
