Dear Mr. Myers:

There has been a complaint of non-compliance of the C.A.M.A. Minor Permit
#92-0001 issued to you on February 21, 1992. Upon investigation of this ccm-
plaint, I observed that you are not only in non-compliance of your C.A.M.A. Minor
Permit but also in non-compliance of the N.C. State Building Code and the General
Statutes of the State of North Carolina.
The list of items of non-compliance of your C.A.M.A. Monor Permit #92-0001
are as follows:
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in
accordance with the permitted work.plat as originally submitted.
(2) All construction must conform to the:N.C. State Building Code require-
ments and all other local, state, and federal regulations. There were
no permits issued by the Pamlico County Inspections,Department for the
construction of the existing decks and porches.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or
land use activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of
your permit. I observed land filling activity and construction of
decks and porches which were not permitted.
The non-compliance list of the N.C. State Building Codes and the N.C. General
Statutes are as follows:
(1) N.C. State Building Code, Volume 1-A, Administrative and Enforcement,
Chapter 3, 3.1 Permit Application, 3.1.1, When Required; No person, firm,
or corporation shall erect, construct, enlarge, install, alter, repair,
move, improve, remove, convert or demolish any building, structure, or
service system without first 'obtaining a permit for such from the In-
spection Department having jurisdiction (General Statute 153A-357).
You are hereby notified that you must contact the Pamlico County Inspection
Department within seven days of receipt of this notice to make an appointment to
file an application for a building permit and :modification of your C.A.M.A. Minor
Permit. Refusal to comply with this notice may result in legal action.
