We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your
inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor
development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The proposed
`project, as submitted, is in accordance with the enclosed Criteria for
Exemption and'will not require a minor development permit. However,.
if your plans should change you will need to:contact this office
before proceeding.
Proposed project and location is`described as: Construction
of a single-family residential dwelling including decks,. garage,
and storage on your property located 'off 'SR 1303,prior to'the
bridge on deft on Gatlin Creel: of the -Neuse River near the Pamlico
County Community of Arapahoe, N. C.
This Certification of Exemption from requiring a C.A.M.A. Minor
Permit is valid for ninety days from the date of issuance - applies
ONLY to exemptions for piers, docks, and decks pursuant to 15A NCAC
7h .0203'and NOT for single family dwellings. Following expiration,
a re-examination of tile project and project site may be necessary to
renew this certification.
