We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your
inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor
development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The project
you propose, as submitted, is exempt from needing a minor development
permit. However, if your plans should change you will need to contact
this office before proceeding.
Proposed project and location described as: A 6' x 100' "T"
shaped pier with the end being 8' x 30'. Also placement of four
tie pilings at lot #11 Rivershore Development on Lee Farm Rd.
on the Neuse River near Oriental, N. C. Pamlico County.
This certification of exemption from requiring a C.A.M.A. Minor Permit
is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following expir-
ation, a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to
renew this certification.
Prior to beginning the project, a building permit is required. If you
have any questions regarding this matter, please contact us.
