Dear Mr. Hei nessey:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your
inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor
development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The project
you propose, as submitted, is exempt from needing a minor development
permit. However, if your plans should change you will need to contact
this office before proceeding.
Proposed project and location described as: a 4' x 311 pier
with a 6' x 321 "T" end. Also to build a single-family residential
dwelling including decks on Lot #8 of the Otter Creek Subdivision
off SR 1308 Horton Rd. on Otter Creek near the Pamlico County Connunity
of Oriental, N. C.
This certification of exemption from requiring a C.A.M.A. Minor Permit
is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following expir-
ation,.a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to
renew this certification.
Prior to beginning the project, a building vermit*is required. If you
have any questions regarding this matter; please contact us.
