Re: CAMA Minor Development permit, 405 Neuse Harbour Boulevard (Lot#160)
Seth, after You and I looked at the lots, Steven Lane caUcd and we examined the proposed work at
1400 on December 30. Fortunately by then, I had the copy of the first permit for the rock work that
Ted Tyndall had written. Steven and I walked the lots and examined the land I received several
recommendations for erosion conk of on the grading of my lot.
This is a written description of proposed course of action if gated permit on 405 Neuse Harbour
Blvd.
• The purpose of this permit request is to grade the bluff from present elevation at the
front of the lot to provided back fill for the use in pem-dt number 37208 and provide a
terraced riverfront of the lot. The current location of the face of the bluff is 50 feet
from the waterline. This permit is for the work from 50 feet back of the waterline to
approximately 100 feet depending on the slope.
• Ronnie Chadwick is the authorized agent and I am assisting him in the preparation of
this permit request.
• The proposed work for this CAMA permit will be done in two phases. The Brst phase
which consist of the storm damage repair will provide a continuous line of uniform
rock rip -rap along the front of the three lots (lots 9159,160 and 161) from 403, 405 and
407 with an appropriate slope. The grading will be from 50 feet from the water line
back to ensure a correct slope and merge with the adjacent lots (estimated 75 to 100
feet). The second phase will be done later (estimated 6 month to 1 year) to provide the
second level of the terrace for home site preparation. See attached diagram.

The North Carolina Division of Coastal Management hereby acknowledges receipt of
