The wall will intrude 12 feet into the zone at the maximum point and will encompass approximately 360 ff . The wall will be built of Keystone block above a 6" gravel Tooter. The attached survey shows the proposed wall location. I have enclosed the pertinent portions of Keystone's literature that describes the block (I will use the "compact units" rather than the "standard units"). It also shows the construction method. There will be two changes to the construction method described In the literature. (1) Due to the low height, no "strong backs" (Geogrid) will be used and (2) the 6" gravel footer will be wrapped in "filter cloth" (sometimes called bulkhead cloth). Both suggestions came from the block manufacturer who helped design the wall.
