***This permit authorizes construction of a swimming pool and associated deck backfill, as well as,
the placement of rock barriers at both ends of the wall. Any other development will require
additional permits or a modification of this permit. The following conditions shail apply:
1. All proposed development and associated construction toast be done in accordance with
the appllication dated 10/6103 and work drawings submitted on 10/6/03.
2. All construction must conform to the NC Building Code requirements and all Local,
State, and Federal regulations.
3. Any change or changes in the plans for development, cons&uction, or land use activMes
will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit.
4. pursuant to 15A NCAC 07J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold,
or otherwise diisposed of to a third party by the applicant, agent, or any entity other than
the NC Division of Coastal Management.
5. No excavation or filling of any wetlands or waters Is authorized under this permit.
6. This project is located in the Neuse Rlver Basin and is subject to the EMC's Neuse River
Riparian Buffer Regulations, Contact Tom Steffens with NC Division of Water Quality
at (252) 946-WI for approval prior to project initiation.
This permit action may be appealed by tho permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per-
mit m,,st cease until the appeal is resolved.

The North Carolina Division of Coastal Management hereby acknowledges receipt of
your application for state approval for minor development of the property located at 126
Dorcy Court in Craven County. It was received on 10-07-03, and appears to be adequate
for processing at this time. The projected deadline for making a decision is 10-17-03,
NCGS 113A-119(b) requires that Notice of an application be posted at the location ofthe
proposed development. Enclosed you will find a "Notice of Permit Filing" postcard
which must be posted at the property ofyour proposed development. You should post
this notice at a conspicuous point along your property where it can be observed from a
public road. Some examples would be: Nailing the notice card to a telephone pole or tree
along the road right-of-way fronting the property, or at a point along the road right-of-
way where a private road would lead one into your property. Failure to post this notice
could result in an incomplete application.

Pursuant to NCGS I I3-119(b), Craven County, a locality authorized to issue
CAMA permits in Areas of Environmental Concern, hereby gives NOTICE that on 10-
07-03, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel G. Peters applied for a CAMA permit for the installation of a
swimming pool and construction of associated decking at 126 Morey Court in Havelock.
The application may be inspected at the address below. Public comments
received by 10-17-03 will be considered. Later comments will be accepted and
