If your plans should change and your project will not longer meets these conditions, please contact me before proceeding. A single-family residence must be located more than 40' landward of the mean high-water mark, or normal water level within the Estaurine Shoreline Area of Environmental Concern. No land disturbing activity may occur within that 40-foot buffer zone other than construction, of a 6-foot wide access to the water. If the lot in question is in an eroding area, the house must be built -the maximum feasible distance back on the lot, but not less than 40 feet. Sincerely, Carol A.
