We have reviewed the information submitted to this officer in your request to construct a pier,;with a tee, and find you are exempt -from needing a Minor Development Permit as long as it meets the specifications below: Your letters have been received and are on file in this office to the adjoining property owners to advise of the project; All pi 1 ings dial l be a minimum of 6"x6" square and shall have an 8' Ittiliimm tip penetration. Prior to construction, .piling depths must be certified, either by an engineer or having the building inSqu ector on site at the time of piling placement; Construction must conform to all applicable state and local construction requirements as illustrated in Bogue Soured Pier/Boat lift specifications (Section 6-84). A pier is riot to exceed 200' in length, or `4' of waterat low tide, not to excised 200 Square feet for any tee(s); nor, shall the pier exceed 6' in width. Any variation of the above will require a CAMA permit; also, this certification of exemption from requiring'a CA!AA permit is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Following expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to renew,this certification.
