Farrington 8016 Sound Drive IIrserald Isle, IE 28594 Re: 8106 Sound Drive Dear Mr. Farrington: j, 6211995 We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your request to construct a pier, with a tee, and find you are exempt from deeding a Minor Developmeiit Permit as long as it meets the specificatiorrA blow: Your letters have been received and are on file in this office to the adjoining property owners to advise of the project; All pilings shall ba a minimum of 611x6" square and shall have an 8' minimuTt tip penetrat ion . Prior to construction, piling depths must be certified, either by an engineer or Having the building inspector on site at the time of piling placeTtent; Construction must conform to all applicable state and local construction requirements as illustrated in Bogue Sound Pier/Boat lift specifications (Section 6-84). A pier is not to exceed 200' in length, or 4' of water at low tide, not to exceed 200 square feet for any tees); nor shall the pier exceed 6' in width. 'The platform portion of any tee may not cover marsi:-ilands. Any variation of the above will require a CA -MA permit; also, this certification of exemption from rewiring a CAMA permit is valid for 90 days from the data of issuance.
