HomeMy WebLinkAbout95-74_Colley, Tom_19950404LMAY 0 8 1995 0 4 Yr�Yrwrrrrr r rr r r r ubw �MYI�#11�4 TOWN OF ISLE 7500 EVMRALD DRIVE FN�D ISLE, NC 28594 May 41 1995 Tuii Col ley 7001 Sound Drive Emerald Isle, NC 28594 Re: Ex 95-74 Dear Mr. Colley: We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your request to construct a pier, with a tee, and f i nd you are exempt f rom needing a Minor Development Permit as l oi7g as it meets the specifications below: Your letters have been received and are on file in this office to the adjoining property owners to advise of the project; All pilings shall be a minimum of 6"x6" square and dial1 have an 8' minimum tip penetration. — Prior to construction, piling depths must be certified, either by an,engineer or having the building inspector on site at the .time of piling placement; Construction must conform to all applicable state and local construction requirements as illustrated in Bogue Sound Pier/Boat lift specifications (Section 6-84). A pier is not to exceed 200' in length, or 4' of water at low tide., not to exceed 200 square feet for any tee(s); nor shall the pier exceed 6' in width. Any variation of the above will require a CAMA permit; also, this certification of exemption fruit requiring a CAMA permit is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance.
