Box 69 Atlantic Beach, NC Dear Mr. Bass: TOWN OF ATLANTIC BEACH 125 WEST FORT MACON ROAD ATLANTIC BEACH, NORTH CAROLINA 28512 JUL 2`4 wWA1Y•IIYi/I• ww•Aww1.wlw.hU.a.& This letter will confirm that at 1:30 p.m. on July 17, 1995, I noted eight (8) boats docked at 218 Shore Drive, Atlantic Beach, NC. Our records indicate the subject docking facility was exempted from the CAMA permitting process on May 3, 1990. The exemption was based upon the assurance that the facility would serve only four boats. Our records further reveal correspondence during the latter part of 1991, regarding violations of the exemption, including a letter from your attorney, M. Douglas Goines, indicating that you had agreed to comply with the terms of the exemption. I will continue to monitor the facility for the next couple of weeks to determine if the agreement reached in 1991 is being complied with. Do not hesitate to call should there be any questions. Sincerely, d C. Wood Director of Inspections cc: Charles Jones, State CAMA Office POST OFFICE BOX 10 / ATLANTIC BEACH, NORTH CAROLINA 28512 0 (919) 726-8380 / FAX (919) 726-5115
