Based upon the determination of W.F.Parker, P.E., the replacement of the
roof upon the existing walls and foundation on the 55'.by 52' building along with
the ice house of the Luther Smith Seafood Co.. would constitute a repair under the
North Carolina Building Code. -

Re: Smith Seafood Building -Atlantic, N.C.
Dear Sir:
.Based upon my personal inspection of the site of Smith. Seafood yesterday,
July 20, 1989, it is my professional opinion that the 55' X 52' building
along with the ice house directly behind is less than 50% destroyed.
The structure can be rebuilt on the existing foundation and walls with
some minor repair.
I hereby certify the above statements are true and accurate.
