Dear Mr. Lee
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your inquiry
concerning the necessity of filing an application for asminor development
permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The activity you propose is
exempt from needing a minor development permit as long as it meets the
conditions specified below. If your plans Should_ change -and your project will
no longer meet those conditions, please contact me be fore proceeding.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS: According to our records you purpose
to construct a 1OX24 deck.
A single-family residence must be located more than 40' landward of.the mean
high water mark or normal water level within the Estuarine Shoreline Area'of
Environmental Concern. No land disturbing activity may. occur within thaf-40'
buffer zone other than construction of a 6' wide access: to the water.
Confirmation must be provided that written statements have beenobtained from
adjacent riparian property owners indicating that they have no objections to
the proposed work.
