lie have received the information submitted to this office in your
inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor
development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The activity you
propose is exempt from needing a minor development permit as long as it meets
the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project
will no longer meet.those conditions, please contact me before proceeding.
DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS:
Construct a 160' long dock with a 20' x 15' "TO at the end on Lot 30 of
Section 2 of Deerfield Shores Subdivision on the Newport River.
No marsh disturbance shall be allowed except for the placement of pilings.
All adjoining property owners must be notified.
The pier must not be located any closer than 15 feet from any adjacent
property lines.
The dock cannot encroach upon any shellfish leases. :
The dock cannot extend past 4 feet mean low water or past the established
pier length.
A building permit is required.
This office must.be notified of any changes in the project and upon comjpletion.
