and Natural Resources and the Coastal Resources Commission for development
in an area of environment concern pursuant to Sectlon 113A-116 of the
General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management'
Issued to POL PROPERTIES, authorizing development in the Estuarine Shordrie - ORW (AEC) at 410 OCEAN OR, in
EMERALD ISLE, as requested in the permittee's application, dated JANUARY 17, 2013. This permit, issued on
JANUARY 28, 2013, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all
applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes: TO REBUILD 2 8' K 41' DECKS UNCOVERED,
(1) All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat
drawings(s) dated received on JANUARY 17, 2013.
(2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations,
applicable local ordinances and FEMA Flood Regulations.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and
modification of this permit.
(4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at 252-354-3338 for a final inspection at
completion of work,

(5) The amount of impervious surface shall not exceed 25% of the tot area within 575 feet of NORMAL HIGH WATER
(Estuarine Shoreline - ORW Area of Environmental Concern), in this case, NO square feet is authorized.
(6) Unless specifically allowed in 15A NCAC 07H. 0209(d)(10), and shown on the permitted plan drawing, all
developmenticonstructlon shall be located a distance of 30 feet landward of NORMAL HIGH WATER.
(7) Proposed development activity Is not riparian however Is located with the ORW AEC. The proposed development
activity is approximately 200+ landward of the NHW and 30' buffer zone. This permit does not permit or authorize
any additional built upon Impervious surface. Proposed development Is open wooded slotted deck ,1 lower 6' x 41'
sq ft and 1 upper open slotted wood deck B' x 41'. Total is 656' of uncovered open slotted wood deck.

CAMA PERMIT NOTICE
Pursuant to NCGS 113A-119(b), Emerald Isle, a locality authorized to issue
permits in Areas of Environmental Concern, through the Coastal Area
Management Agency (CAMA), hereby gives notice that on January, 17
, 2013, PDL Properties applied for a MINOR CAMA Permit to rebuild uncovered
decks within an area of Environmental Concern at 410 Ocean Dr.
The application may be inspected at the address below. Public comments received
by January 28, 2013 will be considered. Later comments will be accepted and
considered up to the time of permit decision. Project modifications may occur
based on further review and comments. Notice of the permit decision in this
matter will be issued upon written request.
