Dear Mr. Rodecker:
I have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning
the necessary filing of an application for a CAMA Minor Developn'.nt Permit
under the Coastal Area Management Act. After making a site inspection onJune
26, 2012, 1 have determined that the activity you propose is exempt from needing
a CAMA Minor Development Permit, as long as it remains consistent with your
project drawing, submitted on June 26, 2012,and it also meets the; conditions
specified below. If your plans should change and yourproject will $no longer meet
these conditions, please contact me before proceeding. ,
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES WITHIN THE ESTUARINE
OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN EXEMPTED
1. All development shall be located at least 40 feet of the me
mark or normal water level, and shall not exceed a 30% in
coverage, within 75 feet of the mean high water mark or n,
level.
2. No ground disturbance or land disturbing activity shall occ
of the mean high water mark or normal water level.
3. The development shall be consistent with all other applica
permit standards, North Carolina Building Code standards
ordinances and local land use plans in effect at the time R
granted.
4. Any change or changes in the plans for development, cor
will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit.
5. A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site.

transferred, sold or otherwise disposed of to a third -party.
7. The amount of impervious surface shall not exceed 30% o the lot area within 75 feet of
Normal High Water (Estuarine Shoreline Area of Environm antal Concern), in this case,
2,032 square feet is authorized.
8. This permit does not authorize development within any we ands or open water areas.
