Dear Rainer Mueller:
I have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your ingUiry concerning
the necessary filing of an application for a CAMA Minor Development Permit
under the Coastal Area Management Act. After making a site inspection on
February 3, 2012,1 have determined that the activity you propose s exempt from
needing a CAMA Minor Development Permit, as long as it remain consistent
with your project drawing, submitted on January 14, 2012, and it a o meets the
conditions specified below. If you plans should change and your p oject will no
longer meet these conditions, please contact me before proceedir.
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES WITHIN THE ESTUARINE SHORELINE AREA
OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN EXEMPTED

All development shall be located at least 40 feet of the meon high water
mark or normal water level from waters classified as ORW,land shall not
exceed a 25% impervious coverage, within 575 feet of the mean high
water mark or normal water level. I
No ground disturbance or land disturbing activity shall occqr� within 40 feet
of the mean high water mark or normal water level from wafers classified
as ORW.
The development shall be consistent with all other applicable CAMA
permit standards, North Carolina Building Code standards. 'local
ordinances and local land use plans in effect at the time thl exemption is
granted. 11
A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. contact this
office at 252-728-8545 for a final inspection at completion �f work.
Pursuant to 15A NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406 (b), this permit may not be
assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed of to a third -party.

Application for Building Permit
To whom it may concern:
I have enclosed the remaining documents for the our application for a building and demolition
permit for the property of 116 Sunset Ln, Harkers Island, NC 28531. I have informed all
neighbors are received the consent from all but one (see attachments): The owners of the
property of 1200 Harkers Island Rd., registered as "R.edus NO Coastal LC,;, 3563 Philips Hwy
#601E, Jacksonville, FL 32207", have failed to respond to our request from January 17, 2012
(resent as registered mail on January, 24, 2012, delivered on January, 27, 2012). This investment
company, which acquired the property about 18 months ago froin Fla»lde l'endergraph, has not
responded.Per CAMA requirements, the remaining party would have to respond within 10 days of
receipt, i.e., by February 10, 2012.
Please go ahead in processing our building and demolition permits as well as the CAMA exception
request (conditional on pending receipt or non -receipt of a response for the remaining neighbor).
