This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other qualified persons
within hventy (20) days of the issuing date. From the date of an appeal, any

(5) The amount of impervious surface shall not exceed 30% of the lot area within 75 feet of Normal High Water level
(Estuarine Shoreline Area of Environmental Concern), In this case, no Impervious surfaces are involved.
(6) Silt fence shall be installed long the bulkhead prior to the start of any land disturbing activities.
(7) All unconsolidated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective
sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land.disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth must
be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area
has been properly stabilized with a vegetative cover.
(8) Any proposed for grading within the 30' buffer from the Normal High Water Level must be contoured to prevent
additional stormwater runoff to the adjacent marsh. This area shall be immediately vegetatively stabilized, and must
remain in a vegetated state.
(9) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction
completion.

CAMA MINOR DEVELOPMENT PERMIT
Pursuant to NCGS 113A-119(b), Town of Pine Knoll Shores, authorized to issue
CAMA permits in Area of Environmental Concern, gives NOTICE that on January
31, 2012, Francis Jilcott applied for a CAMA permit to replace an existing
retaining wall within 40 feet of mean high water at 115 Acorn Court.
The application may be inspected at the address below. Public comments
received by February 18, 2012 will be considered. Later comments will be
considered up to time of permit decision. Notice of permit decision will be
provided upon written request.
