In an area of environment concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the
General Statutes, °Coastal Area Management`
issued to agent, Fences Unlimited for owner Durward R. Murphrey, authorizing development in the Estuarine Shoreline -
ORW at 377 Stewart Drive, in Beaufort. NC 28516, as requested in the permiltee's application, dated June 24, 2011.
This permit, issued on July 26, 2011, is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms
may subject permittee to a One, Imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.
This permit authorizes: Installation of 266 linear feet of 4 foot chain link fence.
(1) All proposed development and associated constriction must be done in accordance with the permitted work plat
drawings(s) dated received on June 24, 2011,
(2) All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other local, State and Federal regulations,
applicable local ordinances and FBMA Flood Regulations.
(3) Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activitles will require a re-evaluatlon and
modification of this permit.
(4) A copy of this permit shall be posted or available on site. Contact this office at 252-728-6545 for a final inspection at
completion of work.
(5) Pursuant to 16A NCAC, Subchapter 710406(b), this permlt may not be assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed
of to a third -party.

(6) The amount of impervlous surface shall not exceed 25% of the tot area within 575 feet of Normal High Water
(Estuarine Shoreline - ORW Area of Environmental Concern), in this case, 268 linear feet is authorized.
(1) All unoonsol'rdated material resulting from associated grading and landscaping shall be retained on site by effective
sedimentation and erosion control measures. Prior to any land -disturbing activitles, a barrier line of filter cloth must
be installed between the land disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area
has been properly stabilized with a vegetative cover.
(8) Any proposed for grading within the 30' buffer from the Normal High Water must be contoured to prevent additional
slormwater runoff to the adjacent marsh. This area shall be Immediately vegetatively stabilized, and must remain In
a vegetated state.
(9) All other disturbed areas shall be vegetatively stabilized (planted and mulched) within 14 days of construction
completion.
(10) This permit does not authorize development within any wetlands or open water areas.
