The activity you propose is exempt from needing a minor development permit as long as it meets the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet those conditions, please contact me before proceeding. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS: SINGLE-FAMILYRESIDENCES: VICO2M) A single-family residence must be located more than forty (40') fed landward of the mean high water mark or normal water level within the Estuarine Shoreline Area of Environmental Concern. No land disturbing activity may occur within that forty (40') feet buffer zone. Confirmation must be provided that written statements have been obtained from adjacent riparian property owners indicating that they have no objections to the proposed work. As per the approved plans dated May 12, 2005, you are proposing to construct a single-family residence located at 156 Arborvitae, Pine Knoll Shorts, Carteret County. N. C., more than 40 feet landward of the mean high water mark. The approved plans indicate an impervious coverage not to exceed 30°/a of the Area of Environmental Concem. Any change in plans shall be approved by the CAMA Local permit Officer/Building Inspector prior to work commencing.
