This permit authorizes the construction of a Business/Residential building with driveway, septic
system, and associated landscaping, contingent upon the following conditions:
I. This development is authorized in accordance with T15A: 07J .0211, referred to as the "Non -
Conforming Development" clause. Subject to this rule, the development must comply with current rules
to the maximum extent possible. As such, the driveway on the south side of the plat submitted 7/ 18/00,
and dated 7/8/00, is hereby deleted.
2. All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted
workplat drawing(s) as originally submitted, or as revised by above condition.
3. All construction must conform to the North Carolina Building Code requirements and all other Local,
State and Federal regulations.
4. Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require
a re-evaluation and modification of this permit.

5. The amount of impervious surface areas shall not exceed 30% of the lot area within the 75' Area of
Environmental Concern (AEC); in this case, 2164 sq. ft. This includes roof overhang.
6. Prior to initiating any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth, staked hay bales, or burlap
must be installed between the land -disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such
time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetated cover.
7. Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold or
otherwise disposed or to a third -party.

An approved Land Use Application is not a building permit and does not allow the applicant to commence construction. A
building permit shall be obtained by the Carteret County Building Inspections Department prior to the start of construction.
This Land Use Application is the mandatory first step in obtaining a building permit from Carteret County. The Carteret

be susceptible to erosion and/or flooding. I acknowledge that the local permit officer has explained to me the
