Box 1255 New Bern, N.C. 28563 REFERENCE: Exempted Project (CAMA Project # 04-05) Exemption #4, Repair (7K.0209) Triple S, Lot 55 Dear Mr. Gaskins: We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The activity you propose is exempt from needing a minor permit as long as it meets the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet those conditions, please contact me before proceeding. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS: According to your application, you propose to repair your existing deck located at Triple S, Lot 55. Structures may be repaired in a similar manner, size and location as the original structure. No expansions or additions are permissible. The repairs are limited to 50% of the physical value of the existing structure, per calendar year.
