This permit, issued on 6/17/04 . is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.

Permit Number
This is a permit authorizing the replacement of two open decks located 50' from the seawall totaling 969 sq. ft and a 4'
wide walkway located at 310 Club Colony Dr. Any other development will require additional permits or a modification of
this permit The following conditions shall apply:
All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted workplat drawing as revised,
stamped and received on June 7, 2004. No more than 500 sq. ft. of open decking is allowed in the 60' setback. In this case, 275
sq. ft. is proposed. This permit does not authorize an increase in impervious surface coverage.
This permit allows for a 4' wide accessway. Accessways shall be exclusively for pedestrian use, shall be no more than 6' in width,
shall be elevated on pilings of no more than 5' in depth, and shall be elevated to a height that does not allow the decking to touch
the sand.
Only negligible alteration of the dunes is allowed during construction and any disturbed areas of vegetation shall be revegetated
immediately.
Any structure authorized by this permit shall be relocated or dismantled when it becomes imminently threatened by changes in
shoreline configuration. The structures shall be relocated or dismantled within 2 years of the time when it becomes imminently
threatened, and in any case, upon its collapse or subsidence. However, if natural shoreline recovery or beach renourishment takes
place within 2 years of the time the structure becomes imminently threatened, so that the structure is no longer imminently
threatened, then it need not be relocated or dismantled at that time. This condition shall not affect the permit holder's right to seek
authorization of temporary protective measures allowed under CRC Rules.
All construction must conform to the North Carolina Building Code requirements and all other Local, State and Federal regulations.
Pursuant to 15 NCAC, Subchapter 7J.0406(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed of to a third
party. This permit may be renewed for one year if requested before the expiration date.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per-
mit m.st cease until the appeal is resolved.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered
under this permit requires further written permit approval.
All work must cease when this permit expires on December
31, 2007
In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent
with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.
This permit may not be transferred to another party without
the written approval of the Division of Coastal Management.

The N.C. Division of Coastal Management hereby acknowledges receipt of your application for
State approval for minor development of your property located at 310 Club Colony Dr., Atlantic
Beach in Carteret County. It was received complete on June 7, 2004 and appears to be
adequate for processing at this time. The deadline for making a permit decision is July 2, 2004.
NCGS 113A-119(b). requires that Notice of an application be posted at the location of the
proposed development. Enclosed you will find a "Notice of Permit Filing" postcard which must be
posted at the property of your proposed development. You should post this notice at a
conspicuous point along your property where it can be observed from a public road. Some
examples would be: Nailing the notice card to a telephone pole or tree along the road right-of-
way fronting your property; or at a point along the road right-of-way where a private road would
lead one into your property. Failure to post this notice could result in an incomplete application.
An onsite inspection will be made, and if additional information is required, you will be noted.

2004, Robert & Amanda .Eason applied for a CAMA Permit to replace the deck located at
310 Club .Colony Dr. in Atlantic Beach, NC. The application may be inspected at the
address below. Public comments received by June 17, 2004 will be considered. Later
comments will be accepted and considered up to the time of permit decision. Project
