If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet these conditions, please contact me before proceeding. A single-family residence or addition, or pool must be located more than 40' landward of the mean high-water mark, or normal water level within the Estuarine Shoreline Area of Environmental Concern. No land disturbing activity may occur within that 40-foot buffer zone other than construction of a 6-foot wide access to the water. If the lot in question is in an eroding area, the residence must be built the maximum feasible distance back on the lot, but not less than 40 feet. Although this is an exemption there is a $50 fee due to this property being in a V-Zone — second row. 10 cc: CAMA District Office Morehead City, NC Sincerely, W. 17aelm Local CAMA Permit Officer
