Issued to Wesley Garrett Alford . authorizing development in Atlantic Beach Estuarine Shoreline at 105 North Shore Dr. Carteret County as requested in the permittee's application, dated 3/30/04 This permit, issued on 5/17/04 is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void. 04-06' Permit Number This is a permit authorizing a 10' wide driveway and a 20' x 20' concrete pad located 33' landward of the normal high water mark located at 105 North Shore Dr. Any other development will require additional permits or a modification of this permit. The following conditions shall apply: All proposed development and associated construction must be done in accordance with the permitted workplat drawing as revised, stamped and received on May 17, 2004. All construction must conform to the N.C. Building Code requirements and all other Local, State and Federal regulations Any change or changes in the plans for development, construction, or land use activities will require a re-evaluation and modification of this permit. The applicant has effectively demonstrated, through engineered, innovative construction design, that the amount of impervious surface area may be exceeded in a way that runoff water will be managed to a similar degree as limiting the coverage to 30%. This design allows for 1,966.85 square feet of impervious surface area within the AEC of this project site. The submitted design was done by Ron Cullipher of Stroud Engineering, P.A., dated May 13, 2004 and was received on May 14, 2004. This innovative stormwater design must be installed and certified by the design engineer before the permit expires and must be maintained for the life of the structure addressed. In order to prevent sedimentation, a vegetated buffer zone must be maintained between all disturbed areas and the adjacent water body or marsh. Prior to initiating any land -disturbing activities, a barrier line of filter cloth, staked hay bales or burlap must be installed between the land -disturbing activity and the adjacent marsh or water areas, until such time as the area has been properly stabilized with a vegetated cover. rursuant to 10 N(:AL;, Subchapter /J.U4Ub(b), this permit may not be assigned, transferred, sold or otherwise disposed 0Tk6 RgMM i maybe appealed by the permittee or other Min qualified persons in twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
