This letter is to confirm our July 11, 1984, conversation concern-
ing your proposed bulkhead construction at your property located adjacent
to the Perquimans River off SR 1336 in Perquimans County. This letter
will also confirm a visit to the site on the same day by Mr. Keith
Haskett, CAMA Local Permit Officer of Perquimans County, and me.
This proposed project can be authorized by a CAMA Minor Develop-
ment permit that is presently being handled by Mr. Haskett, so long as
the following conditions are met:
1. The bulkhead will be positioned at, or waterward of, an
alignment that will approximate the normal water level.
This alignment will be established by OCM Field personnel
within 90 days of bulkhead construction.
2. No excavation other than that necessary to jet in the
bulkhead pilings and sheathing will be allowed under this
authorization.
3. A11'disturbed areas will be provided a ground cover sufficient
to`restrain erosion within thirty (30) days of project com-
pletion.
