Mr. Hurst: , We have received the information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the necessity of Fling an application for a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The activity you propose is exempt from needing a minor development permit as long as it meets the conditions specified below. If your plan should change and your project will no longer meet those conditions, please contact me before proceeding. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY_ AND CONDITIONS: To construct a single family structure on an individual lot at Lot 9, Hurst Harbor North, Swansboro, Swansboro Township, Onslow County, North Carolina, and be exempt from a CAMA permit. SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES ` A single family residence must be located more than 40 feet landward of the mean high water mark or normal water level within the Estuarine Outstanding Resource Water Shoreline Area . of Environmental Concern No land disturbing activity may occur within that 40' buffer zone other than construction of a 6' wide access to the water.
