We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act..
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The project and location is described as follows:
A 4' x 30' walkway with a 6' x 30' pier and a 12' x 16' end
to include an arbor roof at 5801 Parson Road in Oriental, N. C. -
Pamlico County - on the Neuse River..
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
