-Dear Mr. Tilton:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act.
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The proposed project and location is described as follows
Construction of a boat lift at the end of your existing dock
in Whortonsville, N. C.4off SR1325 between Sunset Shores and Lupton
Landing on Brown Creek; Pamlico County.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
j valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
Please be advised that a building permit from the Pamlico County
Inspections Department is required before construction is begun.
If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact
us. Also, please schedule an inspection upon completion.
