Dear Mr. Seymour;
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act.
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The proposed project and location is described as follows:
Construction of a 4' x 8' pier with a 4' x 8' "T" projecting
approximately b' into Otter Creek at.lot #4 of the Otter Creek
Subdivision off SR1308 near the Pamlico County Community of
Oriental, N. C.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for ninety f(90) �days,fro-W the date -of"-issuance.-,.-.Pollnwinq-.m._:
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
f Please be advised that a building permit from the Pamlico County
Inspections Department is required before construction is begun.
