We have reviewed the information submitted to this office
from the N. C. Department of Coastal Management regarding your, r
pier. This letter serves as the exemption from the CAMA Permit
requirements (per Subchapter 7k.0203 of the N.G. Administrative
Code). However, as the project is in violation of N.C. General
Statutes 143-138(b), 153A-357, and 160A-417 (construction without,
first obtaining a building permit), you are required to make appli-
cation to our office for the building permit.
