Mr. Lupton: We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor development permit. However, if your plans should change you will need to contact this office before proceeding. The project and .location is described as follows: A 4' x 120' walkway with a 4' x 61 step down and a 12' x 18' end in Stonewall, N. C. .2 mile on Alligator Loop Road on Trent Creek; Pamlico County. This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance.
