Dear Mr. Leary:
We.have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act.
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for'Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The proposed project and location is described as follows:
Construction of a 6' x 50' straight pier;at your property in
Mesic off SR1224 on Bear Creek and Cox Creek; Pamlico County, N. C.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
