Dear Mr. Klein and Ms. Sylvestre:.
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act.
The proposed project, as 'submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The proposed project and location is described as follows:
Construction of a single family residential dwelling including
decks within 75' of the A.E.C. of Broad:Creek at Lot P14 Silver Acres
Subdivision off SR1327 in Whortonsville, N. C.; Pamlico County.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration`•a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
Please be advised that a building permit from the.Pamlico County
Inspections Department is required before construction is begun.
