Dear Mr. Hollaway:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a
minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The
proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the Criteria for
Exemption and will not require a minor development permit. However, if
your plans should change you will need to contact this office before
proceeding.
The project and location are described as follows:
Construction of a 12' x 181� Qatl ft_�to an existing pier on
Smith Creek off Spinnaker Point Rd. in Oriental, N. C. - Pamlico
County.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA Minor Permit
is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration., a re-examination of the project and project site may
be necessary to renew this certification.
