Dear Mr. Frazer:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act.
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The proposed project and location is described as follows:
Construction of a boat davit which includes a 7' x 7' concrete
pad behind the bulkhead on your property in the Sea Vista Subdivision
on Tarpon Channel and Whittaker Creek in Oriental, North Carolina;
Pamlico County.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
Please contact this office when proposing a project within the
the 75' CAMA Area of Environmental Concern.
