The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor development permit. However, if your plans should change you will need to contact this office before proceeding. The proposed project and location is described as follows: Construction of a 5' x 125' pier with a 10' x 24' "L" and four mooring piles. The project location is at your.property on the south side of SR1227 on the Bay River in Mesic, North Carolina; Pamlico. County. This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be necessary to renew this certification. Call us for the required inspections during construction of the pier. Also, any further proposed construction or land disturbance within the 75' AEC requires CAMA permitting before proceeding. Sincerely, Harvey M.
