Dear Mr. Turner:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act.'
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development. permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The proposed project and location is described as follows:
Construction of a 5' x 40, pier with an 8' x 32, slanted "L"
end at Lot# 11 of Spicer's Creek Subdivision off Sh1321 neat
Florence, North Carolina - Pamlico County.
This certification of exemption from requiring a LAMA permit is.
valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
Please be advised that a building permit from the Pamlico County
inspections Department is required before construction is begun.
