tie have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal,Area Management Act.
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
Th'e proposed project and location is described as follows:
Construction of a single-family residential dwelling including
decks and a garage on Lot #4 of orient Point Subdivision off SR1317
on Smith Creek near Oriental, North Carolina; Pamlico County.
This certification of exemption from requiring a LAMA permit is y
valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
1 Please be advised that a building pei.►nit from the Pamlico County
inspections Department is required before construction is begun. i
