we have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning; the necessity of filing; an application for
a minor development permit under the Coastal Area MkInagenient Act.
the proposed project., as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed Criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
The proposed pi:oject and location is described as follows:
Removal of trees, stumps, and grading of lot ;;q in the Ball
Creek Subdivision in the Pamlico County Community of t'lorence,
North Carolina.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CMIA permit is
valid for ninety (90) days Iron, the date of issuance. following,
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
