Dear fir. and Mrs. Bliss:
We have reviewed the information submitted to this office in
your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for
a minor development permit under the coastal Area Management Act.
The proposed project, as submitted, is in accordance with the
enclosed criteria for Exemption and will not not require a minor
development permit. However, if your plans should change you will
need to contact this office before proceeding.
- The proposed project and location is described as follows:
Construction of a single-family residential dwelling including
a garage, porch and deck on Lot #43 of the Dolphin Point subdivision
on Sandpiper Drive on Bonito Channel in Oriental, N. C.; Pamlico
County.
'Phis certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is
valid for ninety (90) days from the date of issuance. r'ollowing
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may be
necessary to renew this certification.
Please be advised that a building permit from the Pamlico County'
Inspections Department is -required before construction is begun.

North Carolina, Pamlico County. The proposal has been described to me as
described below; at the above location, and I have no objections to the
proposal. I understand that if the development is a pier,
it must be set back a minimum distance of 15 feet
from my area of riparian access unless waived by me. I do/do not wish to

Waive that set back requirement.
Description and/or drawing of proposed development. (to be filled in by
individual proposing development) -INDICATE THE SIZE AND LOCATION OF THE
STRUCTURE AND THE DISTANCE BETWEEN EACH PROPERTY LINE AND WATER.
