I have reviewed the infonnation submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the necessary filing of an
application for a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act After making a site
inspection on 02124/06,1 have determined that the activity you propose is exempt from needing a minor
development permit as long as It remains consistent with your site drawing dated February 23, 2006, and
meets the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet
these conditions, please contact me before proceeding.
Accessory Uses
1. The development must not disturb a land area greater than 200 square feet
2. The development must not Involve removal, damage, or destruction of threatened or endangered
animal or plant species.
3. The development must not after naturally or artificially created surface drainage channels.
4. The development must not after the land form or vegetation of a frontal dune.
S. The development must not be within 30 feet of normal high water level.
6. The development must be consistent with all applicable use standards and local land use plans In
effect at the time the exemption is granted.
This exemption to CAMA permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of your obtaining any other
State, Federal or Local authori¢ation. This exemption expires 90 days from the date of the letter.

PROPERTY LOCATION: LOT 136, 5320 TRADE WINDS ROAD
DESCR]PTION
On the South side of Lot 136 at the S42-11-18W property line. We will build a 50 foot
long retaining wall where the property angle is too stoop to allow cutting the grass on a
riding mower. The proposed pressure treated retaining wall will be approximately 4 feet
high and will be back tilled with top soil and sodded. This will reduce the angle to about
10 degrees and allow safe riding mower maintenance of the property.
