Dear Mr. Spencer:
This letter is to confirm our telephone conversation on Decem-
ber 7, 1983, concerning your proposed oceanfront residential
development at Sound Sea Village located north of Duck in Dare
County.
As I indicated in our conversation, the project you are con-
sidering will require permit approval from this office. En-
closed is an application form to apply for this permit, and
you should complete it and send it to this office with the fol-
lowing materials: ,
1. A plat showing all of.the proposed structures, including
septic tank location;
2. A copy of the deed or offer to purchase the subject property;
3. Copies of letters mailed to the adjacent riparian property
owners notifying them of the proposed project;
4. A check to the.Dept. of Natural Resources & Community Develop-
ment (DNRCD) for $25 to cover the cost of the required pub-
lic notice.
Once all these materials are submitted to this office, processing
of your application will begin immediately.
