notice where necessary, a check for $25.00 made payable
to the locality, and any information as may be pro-
vided orally by the applicant. The details of the applica-

Deviation from these details will constitute a violation
of any permit. Any person developing in an AEC without
a CAMA permit is subject to civil, criminal and admini-
strative action.

and Community Development and the Coastal Resources Commission for develop-
ment in an area of environmental concern pursuant to Section 113A-118 of the
General Statutes, "Coastal Area Management."
Issued to Mr. James Griggs, Jr.
authorizing development in Wanchese , at _Mill Landing Creek, adjacent to
N R 345 as requested in the permittee's application dated February 21, 1984
his permit, 'issued March 8, 1984 , is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing
(where consistent with the permit), all applicable regulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these
terms may subject permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; or may cause the permit to be null and void.
1. All development will be in accordance with attached application
and plat.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or
other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing
date. From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this
permit must cease until the appeal is resolved.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered
under this permit require further written permit approval.
All work must cease when this permit expires on
December 31. 1987
In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consis-
tent with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.
This permit may not be transferred to another party without
the written approval of the Office of Coastal Management.

on the Last side of Roanoke Island, said point being situ
• ated on the Northwest corner of the Richard W. Tillett lot
of land, and which said point is 224 ft. North 24 deg.•30 min.
West from the B. K. Daniels Estate North line at the point
where the said B. K. Daniels North line corsses said highway,
running thence from the beginning point along the East margin -
of said highway North 24 deg. 30 min. West 52.2 ft. to a
stake or other marker'indicated as -the Southwest corner of
the W. R. Etheridge lot; thence North 65 deg. East to I•:ill
Creek; thence in a Southeasterly direction along i4ill Creek
52.2 ft. to the iichard W. Tillett North line; thence along
the Richard W. Tillett North line South 65 deg. West to the
highway and point of beginning.
Same being a portion of the lands conveyed to R. E. Scarborough
