On 13 October 1983 you submitted a plat of your proposed residential development
located at lots 39 and 40 in section J of the Colington Harbour subdivision
near Kill Devil Hills, Dare County, to this office for review.
It has been determined your project complies with the exemption outlined in
15 NCAC 07K .0309 provided no other land disturbing activity occurs between
the proposed residence and the water.
You must have confirmation that a written statement has been obtained and
signed -by the adjacent riparian property owners indicating they have no objections
to.the proposed structure. These statements must be available to Coastal Resources
Commission agents at their request.
By copy of this letter, Mr. Walter Gregory, Building Inspector for Dare County,
is being informed of the approval by this office of your proposed project. You
should see Mr. Gregory about building permits and any other required local
authorization prior to undertaking this project. Mr. Gregory can be reached in
