Subdivision., Dare County
Dear Mr. Biffle:
On December 7, 1983, this office received a plat.of the pro-
posed residential development located at the referenced lo-
cation in 'Dare County.
It has been determined that this project meets the require-
ments of the exemption outlined in 15NCAC 07R.0309 of Coastal
Resources Commission guidelines for development in estuarine
Sne shoreline areas of environmental concern.. The only
condition on which this exemption is granted is that no other
land disturbing acrtivities are performed between the'pro
posed residence and the water.
You should notify the adjacent riparian property owners of
this project and receive a written statement from them indi-
cating they have no objections to, the proposed structure. If
a problem occurs with the project, these statements must be
available to CRC agents at their request.
By copy of this letter Mr. Walter Gregory, Building Iiispeetor
for Dare County is being notified of the approval of the pro-
ject by this office. Mr. Gregory should be contacted for the
required local permits at his office in Manteo,.Tel.._473-2143.'

permit, evaluation or variance.

Since the sale of lot to Mr. Butcher is contingent upon having a buildable
lot for septic and CAMA, the formal survey has not been purchased and I hope that
the sketch and tax map survey sheet will suffice for your purposes. If you are
unable to provide CAMA permit/exemption without the formal survey, please
indicate in your report if the permit could be issued upon submission of the
formal survey.
